Committed to delivering high quality first aid and emergency care by experienced professionals
Stuart Woolley - Director
I have worked within the NHS for the past 12 years, first as an Emergency Medical Technician, then in 2007 qualifying as a Paramedic and, more recently, as a Specialist Practitioner in Primary Care managing acute illness and injury in the community with a special interest in palliative care. I have remained fully operational in pre-hospital care, encompassing a variety of roles from teaching to management. I have a strong background in teaching and training, including 10 years in the voluntary sector teaching and assessing voluntary Ambulance staff and, more recently, in the NHS, teaching and assessing professional staff. As an operational Paramedic I am fully up-to-date with all the latest guidelines and practices which can be evidenced through ongoing CPD. I hold the 2015 Award in Education and Training and am a Paramedic Practice Placement Educator so I am actively involved in a range of training. Gaining confidence in First Aid doesn’t come easy to everyone, therefore Julie and I aim to make all our courses as stress-free as possible, giving you the confidence you need from our expertise and knowledge.

Julie Cruse - Director
I have been involved with pre-hospital care since joining the London Ambulance Service in 1997 as an Emergency Medical Technician. I continued my career as a Critical Care Technician at Newham Hospital in 2008, then took the opportunity to rejoin South East Coast Ambulance Service as part of a large proactive station in 2009. My experience has developed significantly and I often provided event medical cover at The O2 Arena, Wembley Stadium and various race courses and I was very proud to be part of the team who provided medical cover at the London Olympics at the North Greenwich Arena. I have a special interest in palliative care and mental health, experiencing treatment and therapy myself. I hold a Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector and have attended instructor training to ensure I could provide high quality First Aid & Manual Handling courses. Knowing Stuart professional and personally, working together again was such an easy choice. I'm passionate about delivering high quality clinical care as well as teaching it. We want to make a difference using the experience we have gained in the NHS and provide you with the confidence and knowledge to make a difference in the event of any emergency.
